Obituary of Elsie May Lang

Lang, Elsie May (nee Kyle) Of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday January 13, 2019 with family by her side, after a lengthy illness at the age of 80.  Beloved Mother and best friend to her children Debra Brown (Paul), Steven Lang, Michael Lang (Tammy) and Connie Wharram (Brad).  Dearly loved Grandmother of Derek Morphy (Tracey), Shawna Morphy, Brandi Coakley (Jason), Meghan Lang-Ferguson (Matti), Scott Wharram (Jessie) and Kaitlyn Lang.  Great-Grandmother "GG" to Christien Graham (Keri-Ann), Sky Ferguson and Branson Coakley.  She also leaves behind her much loved companion "Sassy".  She will be missed by sister-in-law Shirley Kyle, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and neighbours.  She is pre-deceased by her parents Samuel and Stella (nee Keillor) Kyle and by her brothers William (1969) and Robert (1994).  Elsie worked for 35 years at Hayes-Dana where she made many friends.  A special thanks to Michelle from Respiratory Services, and to Dave for faithfully walking Sassy every morning.  Cremation has taken place.  At Elsie's request, there will be no funeral service, with only a private family gathering being held.  St. Thomas Elgin Cremation entrusted with arrangements.  Memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.  www.cremationbydennings.com
