Obituary of Michael Henry Lewis

After a valiant fight with various illnesses, Michael (Mike) Henry Lewis went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus. Mike is survived by his loving wife Jane Lewis (nee Weaver), his children; Tracy Marie Prescott, Michael Jeffrey Lewis and Derek William Lewis, his loving step- children; Jessica Fediw, (Stefan), Samantha Daniel, Aaron Daniel, Marnie Brunton (Neil), his loving sisters-in-law; Linda Nowlan and Wendy Clarke (Brian), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a loving sister, Sylvia Barber, brother, Dennis Lewis and grandson Brandon Prescott. Mike worked at various factories in St. Thomas, as a nurse in Simcoe, ON and as a maintenance cleaner at STEGH and took pride in being a hard worker no matter what his circumstances. Mike was also a strong sportsman, known as "Never miss Lewis", he played the position of out fielder in baseball, apparently never missing a ball sent his way. He was also an avid swimmer, hockey player and pool player. At the age of 33, Mike became born again and assisted Pastor Merv Earhart in his ministry at Good News Christian Centre. He was a kind, caring and generous friend to many. Many thanks to all the staff at CCC unit at STEGH and the wonderful caring staff at Caressant Care, Bonnie Place, St.Thomas.
