Obituary of James Penman O'Meara

O’Meara, James (Jim) On August 2, 2020 in his 79th year at Terrace Lodge Nursing Home in Aylmer, Ontario. Jim was born in Newtongrange, Scotland on August 9th, 1941 and emigrated to Canada at age 26. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Talbotville as an electrician for 39 years from it’s opening until his retirement at age 65. He was a long time member at Westminster Trails Golf and Country Club in London. He is predeceased by his parents James and Jemima (Thomson) and his brothers Peter and Kenneth. He was a loving father and is survived by his children Ian (Angelique), Gina (Beven) and Bryan (Peggy) and grandchildren Alex, Noah, Tristan, Dylan and Henry. Also missing Jim is his nephew James and nieces Anne, Dawn and Kerry. A heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Terrace Lodge and Aylmer Retirement Residence. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, no visitation or funeral will be held. Donations in memory of Jim can be made to the Alzheimer Society or cancer research.
